I understand, quite well, the pros and cons of the various types of traction systems. However, the comments I highlighted and said that I don't get seemed to have nothing to do with lockers.
Just a little generational rivalry.

Oh, so Paul is just being a dick. That's cool![]()
Well, if you want to call a guy that would hate to see someone go off a trail due to a locked up front locker, a dick... Yeah, I'm a dick.
I personally have been in the hammer's area with a front locker that would not 'disengage' and it was not a pleasant experience. But, to each their own.
I've had enough of your lip for one day
I wasn't speaking of your advice on lockers. I agree with you. Again, I was commenting on the posts I highlighted.

Didn't we establish months ago that anything in red lettering was not to be taken literally?Peace - out - enjoy

Yes, and sarcasm ALWAYS gets lost on the internet.

Yeah, Brian, its best to save up and do it right. Particularly on the front axle. Rear is another story. Do you plan to regear or are you happy as is? If you do, that would be the time to do it too. Once they already have the axle cracked open and the gears out, its no extra work to put in a different ratio.
Would these work in mine?

For the rear
That's why I made sure to put it in red. Maybe it's too agressive of a color for sarcasm?![]()
You guys are all a bunch of dicks!
Testing color for sarcasm.
I think Brian's comment about Paul being at such a disadvantage should have been colored... either that or Brian's on the rag.
Anyhow, if you can afford it get the selectable.. it does suck when a locker doesn't disengage when you want it to.
