Wired the CB this morning, and just got done bolting on the sliders. Didn't have enough time to get all the bolts in though, Christa had to go back to work.

I would.. actually thought about welding up my bolt on Shrockworks sliders on the Taco. Just cause.

I don't think we're going to wheel it enough right now to be worth it. Maybe when I put it up 6" and throw on some 37s

Bring your drill bits and work it in my driveway again. I've got a rechargeable mid grade drill and a 1/2" electric drill that will run forever. I have bits too but i'd prefer to burn them up myself thank you very much

Step bits seem to work the best for drilling through the frame. I drilled one hole using a few various sized standard "titanium" bits from Home Depot in about 10 minutes. Then I used a single Irwin step bit and drilled 5 more about the same amount of time it took to drill the first one.

Yeah, I would have gotten weld ons, but 4x only has the bolt ons

WTF.. big U-Bolts? Got a pic? I say put about an inch or two of weld on the sides of those mounting plates. That is nice they don't require drilling though.

There is clearance between the frame and the body. The u bolts go on sideways with the slider tab and a back plate sandwiching the frame.
