Hey I just bought my first rig last month. 2005 GX470. It has a few goodies on it King lift, TRD wheels, and hefty fabworks sliders. My brother (tex) is actually taking care of it until next week and delivering it to Colorado for me!

welcome from NJ! After all that work - Buy your brother some wheel chocks so he doesn't run over himself working on his truck lol (didn't see any in the pics)

I just took them out to spray the tire shine and was about to move it and decided to take a pic.

got lazy?

So you spray so much tire shine that you actually have to raise the wheels off the ground? That's a whole new level for me?
I have to stay ontop of my tire shine game.

But really that gave me more room to spray the fluid film all over the underside.

Welp...Looks like this rig is getting new front brakes today. Not really in the plans and dont have time to wait for factory stuff or EBC pads.
Summit has the Power Stop kit in stock and I know @Taco Loco will like to hear this next part. They are cheaper than Amazon even with paying tax. This seems to be a trend with almost everything I am ordering online lately.

Call them if your time table is that tight - Ive had stuff thats "in stock" at Summit online take weeks to ship.

New pads and rotors are on. Old pads had plenty of meat but the shims literally fell off when I got the pads out. No more shimmy and stops great.

It is not a war crime the first time.

Interested to see how this set works out. The Tacoma that I just put new pads and rotors on is shimming pretty bad already. I need to get in there and see why.

Must be nice to have a boxed frame. Just looking at the differences in the pic.

Also just spotted a potential issue with my build and those same shocks. My bumper reinforcement goes back to the rectangular hole that's in between the remote resi and the shock tower then sandwiches the frame there. I hope my bumper bracket clears that resi and mount.

I dont think that's the correct mounting spot for the front resis. I had to have some custom fabrication done to both the mounts and the mounting points on the frame due to it having KDSS.

Maybe theres some pics in @Silverback build thread. He has the same shocks and an aftermarket bumper on his Tacoma.
