On my way home I found a Jeep full of kids with water in the cab sitting in the middle of a mud run. They had no extraction gear at all.....kids
I hooked up 60' of strap and yanked them out. Good deed of the day - check

I think the first ones are like 55 or so, had really cool fins on the tailgate section and nice tail lights. Ford started making Rancheros around then too using a Ford Falcon front half.

I'm guessing any old ones around here turned into rust piles so I never get to see them. The one I saw wasn't strait or in great condition, but I would drive one any day. One of the few cars Ive seen in person with white walls that I liked.

I gave it a try Saturday before Irene hit. I got the bolt and cam nut off but couldnt get the cam sleeve out of the bushing. Not sure if there's a better way to do it but when I have time I'll try it again and actually remove the spindle and shock from the LCA.

The reduced tension from the removal of the shock might do it......hopefully. Spray the piss out of it, let it sit overnight, and then beat it gently. Make sure you mark you cam tabs as well. Good luck man!
I'm not thinking or going to any other meets then the BC meet. Now that the truck is done I'm devoting 100% of my time and effort to getting my house fixed up and sold. Who knows time will tell.

I'm not sure whats going to happen. Baby steps first. One thing I know for sure is any region that requires hurricane or seismic loads on buildings would be a whole new ballgame for me to learn and my "experience" won't really count. Right now all I worry about is fire rating, snow load, and wind speed. I have done a few "hurricane rated" jobs down the shore, but they were few and far between. I'm not apposed to moving anywhere that has good gun laws, happy people, a beach within driving distance, and mountains to ski on in the winter.
