I'd call them or swing by there and make sure there were no plates in the box. Someone messed up somewhere. Either 4x left them out when they shipped or Krawltex overlooked them.

Don't worry about it. Its not going to hurt anything unless you REALLY beat the shit out of it. You have 4 legs to spread the load so that helps. Its just not what we expected to see. Normally their would be a plate to help spread the load.

Add a turndown, you are just blowing hot exhaust on your axle.. not good for the fluid inside it.

I got plates with the 4x ones I ordered for the Taco AND for the 4Runner (I'm in the middle of welding the legs to them right now). The plates have holes drilled in them in case someone wanted to use them as bolt on's. Maybe that's what confused Krawltex?

Camaron is a good dude, and if there's a problem with the way something was done at his shop, I'm sure he'll make it right.

Just take it back up there and be cool with them, I bet they would be willing to fix it free or damn cheap. Also like Sean said they will more than likely be fine as long as you don't beat the shit out of them.

Wish I was out wheelin' with some of yall. Instead I decided to save my money for the next trip and some other things. Ordered the Scan Gauge II that came in today and finished plugging it in. Hope this helps out my gas and driving habits.

I beat up my muffler the last time I was out at Hidden Falls on Bronco Buster, so I went and replaced it with a Magnaflow XL Muffler. Now the muffler sits a few inches above the frame rail and is out of harms way.

Also, got really good city gas mileage with the new addition. Scan gauge really helps me out for sure and really haven't changed my habits too much.
