I like the tacticool and magfeed/hopper option is what I really like about it. The due/empire have more of a sppedball fill to me and that doesn’t interest me.

Sounds like you'd like the massive mil sim scenario games we have here.
I like speed ball for the adrenaline and ease. Now that I can reach out and touch someone much more accurately with the emek I think Ill start to enjoy woods-ball more and more. I was not having fun on my last outing playing woodsball with my 98.
My nephews both have Empire Mini's and they do great with them. Small fast kids with small fast guns are cereal

Yeah woodsball is definitely more what I’m leaning towards. If I’m going to gear towards something it’s gonna be that. I need to do some research and see what’s going on around here. I know there are a few fields close, but the are the inflated bunker type.

I ordered my daughter this kit Azodin Kaos 2 Epic Paintball Gun Package Kit for her birthday. It should be here this week sometime. I’ll probably end up getting her a two piece with a freak insert to dial the barrel down from the .690 to .687 or so. I might do the same on my 98, but right now the 16” seems to be doing alright especially with this HK tournament paint.
Oh and that new piece I added to the 98 didn’t really make much difference in noise, but the action is way improved now and the consistency is way better too.

I got mine on eBay for about $12 cheaper then off their website. I saw an old vid from ANS with a aluminum one, but that and the spring upgrade kit are no longer available for some reason.

Got out this weekend for a few hrs to break in my new gun and make sure my upgrades to my Tippman were installed correctly by me. All good so last night I broke them all down and cleaned and oiled everything before I head off tomorrow night for a week of paintballing at Skirmish. The consistency of the FPS from my new Planet Eclipse gun is amazing. Like 5psf variable max. My Tippman is like 10-25fps variable between shots but it's also 20 years older.
