You can fill it through the inspection hole. You can also check the coloring of the fluid.. make sure its not milky.

Ya it would just go to 4 high. I have had a rare couple instances in which after stopping at a light when I take of the rpms would start to rise but no movement of the truck then it would just pop into gear and lurch forward. it has to be that which would be the tranny. :( fml

Yo problem is simple, there is too much fluid in the system. Had this same issue after I replaced my trans pan truck would rev up to 1500-2000 RPM and then feel like it was neutral dropping into first, no slip or other oddities outside of that. As for the 4lo thing I think thats also the trans it's getting confused since there is too much fluid in the system thinking the pressure is high and up shifts to the highest gear thinking your at a cruising speed.

Isn't filling the transmission like impossible? how do you do it? and Ill do the tcase this weekend.

Nah, its just a waterproof camera I have that I put up there with a mount. Wouldn't belive how many people told me "nice go pro" lol

If you drain some out and it's milky gotta change the whole system, get it at the right level then pull the cooler lines and drop the output into an empty bucket and the return into a big assed jug of ATF stop and reconect lines to the cooler when fresh fluid comes out of the out put.

Can't believe it was just the 3 of ya'll. Looks like a great time regardless. Greg did your wife go as well? So it was basically 3 couples? I suppose that would be nice for the women.... and the guys. "Yeah yeah.. go talk to her for a while... we're talking about guy stuff". lol

I left wifey at home because it was just too much driving per day on the kids. We were driving like 10 hours each day
