Beavers Bend state park. Camping is kind of free. They drive around to collect money if you are at your camp site. We normally never see anyone that collects.

I've got some new goodies for this trip to test out. 5 galllon water can, 6 cup coffee percolator, 1 man tent, possibly a new Ham handheld radio (if Aaron has Ham) and a Nexus 7 with Backcountry Explorer loaded with some topo maps. Merry Christmas to me! The trip is a go, leaky front differential and all.

I don't have a Ham yet but it is on my very short list. Sounds like we should have a great trip and eat well.

I'm also gonna pick up some hamburger helper boxes and ground beef as well, for a lunch or dinner. I've got a pot/pan/plate/bowl set I'm already bringing as well.

Bacon ok with you for breakfast tacos? I find bacon to be less messy than sausage.

I love bacon. I could not even get off the highway to make it to central market for burger patties. I will make some deer burgers if you are cool eating Bambi.
I also have a pot pan set that is already packed.

Great. I mix bacon into the meat since deer is so lean.
