Yes, Photo ID card scanned when you vote. KISS....keep it simple stupid. If most states require me to show ID then get it scanned by them when I buy smokes one would think such a task would be widely accepted by our populous that has nothing to hide when we make the most important political decisions every 2 and 4 years. Maybe the photo ID card is the new social security card or something along those lines to limit duplicated services. No need to 20 forms of ID IMO. I have more than a few and it gets old. NJ Long arms ID, Drivers license, CCW permit card, Passport, Social security card, Birth Certificate.... how many freaking forms do we need?
