It's not dusty, I washed it not too long ago. But I have a laundry list of things to do to it... As soon as my back heals I plan to tear it apart and 4 link it, fix rear outer axle seal, fix the exhaust manifold, and of through the motor.

At least post some pics of the Reds.

Serious question though. Where did you get the cooler tie downs?

The tie-downs are turn buckles with hooks on each end that I picked up at Home Depot. They work exceptionally well. The lid of the cooler is the weak link for sure.

Thanks, I was looking for where you got the base that the turnbuckle attaches to. Trying to figure out my bed organization (ice chest, spare, 2 totes) space is kinda at a premium now for me.

nice pic of the Reds!

I just took a small piece of steel, drilled a hole and rounded off the top a little then welded it in place iirc.

Cool. I will probably use something similar. I looked for the pic but didn't see anything except the shiny mount you had when the bed was still on.

Oh yeah. I put that track up above the fuel cell.

I know I'm just a web wheeler now but shouldn't that top mount have been mounted 90 degrees from that? :)

Probably.. but it was mounted that way previously. Its never hindered the flex.. or not that was noticed. But its soon to be all cut off anyhow once I get to feeling better.

Bumping this. Do you have the 2161 RCI fuel cell? Do you recall what all you ordered to plumb it into the Toyota fuel system. I'm about to dive into that

I'm pretty sure thats it. Its the 15 gallon or so one.

As for plumbing it. Well it doesn't have a fuel sender connected to it because as I'm saure you know, the OEM fuel gauge is so different than a Ford or Chevy sending unit. So I just open the tank and look in.. not bad on a trail rig but you may want to go ahead and get a fuel gauge that you can use a sending unit with. I just used the Jegs cut to fit line and fittings (-6 I think) and to connect it to the yota line I used a barb fitting coming out of the fuel pump. The return line just connects via another barb fitting. The OEM fuel pump wire just triggers a 40 amp relay that powers the new fuel pump. I wasn't confident that little tiny OEM wire would power the pump without smoking it. I was running a fancy blue anodized one I bought from Summit but it didn't last... ended up getting a EF2000 from Vato Zone.

you can order the correct ohm sending unit for your rig, and quit sniffing the gas to get buzz

Who sells a Yota sending unit to fit into a cell? I didn't see them when I was looking. Its been a few years though.

On the race truck we put two tundra units in. We don't know when it's full but it was extended so we know when it's getting low.

I have only seen a couple. Mine has the 90full to 0 empty sender in it. The Toyota uses a 3 full to 110 empty range. Seems if you hook it up you OEM gauge would work. It would read backwards though. E = enough F= fucked
