That's the only thing. I've thought about them before but I have always lusted after the Hutchensons!

I've been thinking about propane, but I think I'm just gonna leave the EFI and replace the factory tank with a fuel cell in the bed. As long as it leaves room for the cooler.

If I had EFI, I wouldn't need to!

yeah, thats true! I had 0 PSI in the fronts and I aired them up to 20PSI in seconds!

Yeah, plus it wasn't sitting on the rims at 0. I have no idea how much air is in the Stauns though, I never checked.

IIRC they say to inflate them to 50 PSI

Out of curiosity what happens if the tube of one of those stauns gets a hole pinched in it? Will you loose all pressure of just depressurize the tube and rest of the tire will be fine

Not sure how that would ever happen, but the two compartments would just equalize pressure.

Well the only way it might happen is if the Stauns pressure gets low and then that allows the inner tube to get pinched.... but its highly unlikely. If a sidewall puncture happened to get the tire and Stauns then that would just suck. But if the Stauns happened to get a hole by itself then its just like what Drew said, it would just equalize pressure.

I got news that the guy has yet to 'smog' my new mancessory.

He said that he would throw in spares including: transmission,transfercase and front axle and others... in exchange for the smog... Sounds good to me!

Then the guy that I was going to be borrowing the trailer from called me to tell me that he was heading up to the same location (4 hours away) to pick up an engine for work... Looks like I may have a Ford Diesel Tow rig and fuel paid for by his boss... Things are looking up!!!

Thanks Paul, but I'm just buying stuff at this point. Not really fabing up much. Although I did need to shim the drivers side doors because it was about 1/2" too short to reach. No fault of 4xInnovations, just some creative body work from previous owners. LOL

So I painted them first with some Rustoleum Self Etching primer.

Man I'm really liking the color! Hmmmmmm... also noticed I missed a piece of tape on the bottom.


Here is the foundation for the driveshaft. 2.5" x .25 wall seamless receiver tubing with 2" x .25 wall box that slides in nicely. I'll be welding this all up tomorrow. Going to Foga de Choa for dinner so I don't want to start any projects this afternoon.
