One side, and few beers at a time, can't wait to see the cage around the prune.

Yeah, I fucked up.. I let my wife park in the garage! So now she thinks its her right. WTF right?! :) Anyhow.. if some parts arrive and I get the front end done then I can move it around as need be and the 'doing one side only' stuff goes away. But until then its a good reason to only work on a project 50% and not bitch about the heat.

Side note.. my neighbor's kid has a newer GTO with the 5.7 in it. Alternator took a shit because the power steering reservoir had a loose hose and leaked on it. Anyhow he was out changing it out tonight. His dad and I where talking.. commenting on how nice it felt.... nice breeze and a low low temp of.. 98! My piss is probably cooler!

lol.. I'll take the no smog restrictions and a hotter garage. :)

I hear you on that!!!

Yeah, I'd rather not pay all those taxes and have a hot garage

Well I don't want to get into a 98 degree pissing contest lol but I would say each place has its pluses and minuses. This time of year I personally love the BLM land and Nat Forest! :D

Well, you should make a trip out here some time. There is plenty - even with the lefty's taking more trails each year! :( :)

Well despite the temp of the tailgate in sun to be 131... I pulled it all off.

I'll cut it up over the next couple days and get rid of it. Also need to cut and reweld the rear shock mount. When I fixed I didn't realize it wasn't completely flush when I burned it in... was in a rush to get to Longs. :)

Anyhow, I'll be pulling the old fuel tank, cutting off old mounting tabs, fixing the shock mount, picking up some 2" box and building a mount for the fuel cell over the next few days.

Glad to see you stopped that cutting it apart while on the truck nonsense.

Cock shocks?

To go with my truck balls.

ActuLly they are From Poly Performance.. I like em. Built in bump stops.

Glad to see you stopped that cutting it apart while on the truck nonsense.

Yeah I needed to get it to a point I could get it off and clean out the bed easy. It still needs cut up which means I'll be hunched over doing it. Sucks.

Anyhow.. Came back out.. Cut the shock mount and repositioned. Need to burn it in. Also just threw some steel across the supports and set my cell back there. The plan it to have it sit about 6-8" lower.

I'm pushing for sponsorship! I'll paint it to match! lol

Good call!! How thick is the horse collar? You can get back to me on it.. Won't start burning that in for a while. Need to drop this fuel tank which is over 1/2 full.

I have two five gallon cans to put it in.. The damn caps are seized on though!!! they are those cheap as Blitz metal ones. Might need to just eat it and go buy a plastic tank and transfer it to the taco.

Why not just place the tank on the taco's toolbox and supersiphon it?
