Well I should be making some pretty good progress on this in the next few days/weeks. Picked up a bunch of steel to build a flatbed/bed cage. Nothing super fancy planned but it will tie into my cage and have two lowered sections, one for the fuel cell and one for a cooler as well as a HiLift mount and tabs for CB antenna and future lights. Also picked up some Alpine SPR-69 speakers (decided against the Polks) and a marine equalizer/line driver to go with my iPod interface. This will give me a volume knob vs. using the iPod or iPhone. Also ordered a new 3 row metal radiator and a 2 speed replacement radiator fan out of a Taurus, supposed to be the way to go for cooling. I plan to use a 3 way switch (off, low and high) for controlling it. I figure I'll have to fiberglass me a custom shroud once it comes in to get the most out of it. I do need to order some silicone hoses from Trail Gear yet, probably do that today. And finally I ordered a bunch of Jegs black anodized AN Push-Loc fuel fittings along with a black anodized Russell fuel filter... I'l shelve the red and blue one I have now. I hope to hit up Certafit in the next few weeks and pickup a couple new fenders. The plan is to have it all done by the 1st of Oct. <fingers crossed>.

Yeah, I need to pull the old tank tonight and get to cutting on the frame.. time to break out the plasma cutter! With any luck I'll be plumbing the tank by early next week.

This weekend. I've pulled the old bed and bought the steel. I have cut a few tabs off, but I need to remove the old fuel tank so I can remove the rest. Once thats done then its off to bend some steel and get going.

Yeah I pretty much have to. The old fuel tank is in the way of the new tube bed, and the fuel cell will have to go in so I can move it around. The bed will be a 2 stage process I believe. First step will be to just get the main structures and a base, then I'll add more (not much though) in the future.

Forgot to mention I picked up those fenders today. There was a little confusion and I asked for fiberglass ones the fist time... After the guy told me they didn't sell fiberglass it only took about 3sec of awkward pause for me to figure it out
