Forgot to mention I picked up those fenders today. There was a little confusion and I asked for fiberglass ones the fist time... After the guy told me they didn't sell fiberglass it only took about 3sec of awkward pause for me to figure it out

Well the old fuel tank is down, I've got 2 of the 6 mounts off... my neighbors came over to bullshit so it cut into my wrenching/cutting time. Thinking about taking tomorrow off to do some cutting/grinding/etc to get the area prepped. But I positioned the fuel cell at the top of the frame rails with a piece of 2" box running across the frame and it looks good.. and it keeps a significant amount of the fuel cell below the top of the "new" bedline.

I'm guessing whoever has the tubing bender also has a tubing notcher.

Hole saw and a plasma cutter.. drilled holes first.. laid out some flat stock between the edges.. blew em out with the plasma. Flap disk to clean up. Used some 1" square tube as a base for the stand-offs inside the tubing.

I own a notcher.. I need a bender. But a plasma works pretty good as a notcher as well.

Shitty pics cause its dark.. but..

Didn't get to work on it as much as I would have liked.. had some family obligations to attend to. But I did get the tube bent and some other stuff not shown in the pics. So its coming along.. have some other plans as well.

Also got rid of the wrinkles... thanks Drew and Jason for the pony express of these to me! Much appreciated!

Man those fenders are awesome!! I probably should buy a few more sets though.. since I don't have any protection for them

I'm thinking of plating in the rear with some thin 16 ga to give it a bed feel... lots of ideas rolling around at the moment.
