Going to nominate my guys who I am currently watching from my window bungee down a 13' a-frame ladder on top of a truck with no straps.

They both have wives and kids, but I guess don't think what would happen if it flew off and killed a family...WTF morons

Makes me wonder what happens when no one is watching them to catch their idiocracy

Same guy I was just talking about in BS thread wanting to know what 4 minus 6 was... no pic when it happened but here is one from right now showing my desk overlooking the staging area. Guys were 2' from jy face when they were doing it. I tapped on my window and wagged my finger then said "strap it"

you want sheer stupidity - watch my ice breaking kayak videos - those are pretty freaking dumb

:facepalm:I’m having my gantry crains serviced today. Look out my office window and see this jackass extended up 20’ standing on the side rail the whole damn scissor lift was swaying. He’s strapped in, but if he fell his weight would pull that shit over on top of him.

I never liked strapping to lifts, but OSHA knows best. I'd rather strap to the beam

Yeah no doubt. That thing fully extended is t stable. A sudden shift of someone falling over the side would definitely topple it

We don't strap in scissor lifts where I work because the manufacturer says not to. But every lift is different. Generally if the wheels are under the frames the manufacturer says no go on strapping to it. If they're mounted outside the frame, they recommend it.

Looks like the shop needs cameras so you can sell the footage to a TV show.
I got them mounted around the exterior, but the only ones inside are in my parts room.
