On another note my nominee from last week is getting it again today. She's trying to talk me into telling her my entrance is smoke rated. Ive been telling the GC the specks were bad for 4 months now (from when I first bid the job) and no one has listened. When they get my submittals and see the note on the bottom maybe they will wake up. This door is supposed to be smoke rated, but I bid as specified and noted the door would not meet code. Going to be a 5-10k up charge for a rated entrance system with sidelites. Funny how 90% of my issues come from 5% of the architects and it's typically the same firms who have no respect for safety and building codes.
