These are videos and pics from Rock Trails of Tolar from yesterday. I went with Blake and I'm glad I waited to go with someone else instead of trying the place alone. Always have to remember Rule #1.

Yes - I am going to be checking that front passenger brake pad this week. This was my 4Runner on the third "trail" we found and tried.

Blake working on the third trail we found. The big rock at the end made for quite the challange to get around without sliders.

Blake tried this trail first. The last bit is only tough because of the approach angle and soft, loose dirt to bury your back tires in. I had hell trying to get out of it and eventually decided to get Blake to give me a pull to get out. Some new tires with tread might have helped - but a locker would of really made the difference.

Some random pics from driving around the place... lots of ranch roads.

Looks like ranch roads. Were there any obstacles or rock gardens?

I can't say yes or no because I know we didn't cover the whole place. The map is a joke, there are signs, and no dominating landmarks to orient off of. Once we figured out the main road we did some more exploring. It will probably take a trip that is guided to get a real feel for the place.
