They are EASILY the nicest.. but 900+ ? I know Jim, he is a nice guy.. but dang.. you and I both know it will take like 2months or more after paying for it to get it. That is just too damn long man. I could probably spend less than 2 months looking on CL and find an ARB for less than $500.00 which is the route I am leaning.

True.. so just order it now. LOL

I asked Steve at CBI for any deals.. he had a bumper laying around another customer ordered that didn't fit. Steve said I would probably have to beat the hell out of it to get it on. It was a "Smokin" deal, so I jumped on. Luckily.. Todd was there to cut it and re-weld it. There is no way Beating it would get it on there.. it was shifted to one side pretty bad.

Gotcha! Turned out great. I see it has a swing out hinge, did you get the carrier?

That is the same damn thing Bianca said when I hit the rocks at Longs. I had those sliders on order for a while, and they were ready the very next weekend after hitting the rock... augh.. If you curse me Sean!!!! You better hope I don't hit a freaking deer or something before I find the deal on an ARB. Augh.

No, at the time... I was thinking I was going to put the tire underneath. Since that time, I have fallen in love with the swingout so.. they are 350 from Steve or.. well, let's face it.. I can't weld. :D

Thanks Boom.

Been hearing noises for quite a while now, located the loudest one to the AC compressor.. apparently the whole thing needs to be replaced. The belt is cut for now as it is Texas winter and rather pleasant. The current noise is loudest from the fan pulley area. In reading on the forums, there is a Fan Bracket bearing that gets noisy over time. I located the OEM part here from Aisin, ordered it this morning.. I am not going to order a waterpump or T-stat until I get everything apart and determine if the truck actually needs it.

I did this yesterday, very easy to do. I took pictures of the new part from RockAtuo (FBT004) and the old one.. likes like the same thing to me. Rockauto has the Aisin piece for $135.99. That's sure to be the same as what Toyota WON'T sell you, except as part of the whole package. AISIN makes the OE fan clutch, too.

Sadly, this was not my noise I was hearing.. so if anyone wants buy my old one... :D

My noise must be the waterpump, it's right behind it apparently. That's next.

If you are replacing the water pump then you might as well change the timing belt, and check the idlers there. I replaced all of the idler pulley's when I did Brandy's because they felt a little rough.....could be your noise?

Yeah, that is turning into the plan going forward. I want some help on the timing belt.. never done a Yota before. Is there a special tool for the tensioner? The Marks line up easy enough, I just don't want to jack up the tensioner taking it off.

Damn, those are identical. Same casting marks and everything.

I used to be in a company that made OEM and aftermarket parts. Sometimes the only difference between the two was a logo being ground off or the OEM in a bag and the aftermarket in a glossy box.

Once again the funniest part was when you would have an independent company test and compare the two - they were the exact same part!!!

There is a special tool to break the Harmonic balancer bolt loose. I made one when I did Brandy's. I've done a few 3.4 timing belts and would be glad yo help.

Now that is a dandy little tool...I have gotten by without it several times, but it surely can't hurt, would likely make life easy. So ....heads or tails?
