i did a dry load with coolers, cargo box and my buddies kayak today. everything fit fine, the kayak will strap down tight for the drive out, so i'll be bringing it. i'm not fishing, but i can direct the fish where to go. i'm not even a kayaker, so it'll be fun.

i tuned up my 4 ft antenna as well. i've got a 2ft one for parking garage terrain, 3 ft one for terrain with trees and the 4 ft one for open terrain. my antenna collection is not by design, it's by accident.

I will be leaving here around 8:00. Randy is going to meet me at my house since I have to go into work for about 20 minutes. It takes me a solid 6 hours to get to Rockport and about another hour to get to the park depending on the ferry. I am probable going to say 4:00 is when we will get there. I am making a quick stop at my buddies house in Rockport to get some fishing rods.
I am bringing a pot of black beans and venison steaks. Do I still need to bring fajita fixings?

Ferry, shouldn't be a ferry unless your buddy lives somewhere you have to catch one to get to. Might want to talk to Drew on that one as I'm not sure.

Just looked at google and if we take the ferry to port a it is shorter but 15 minutes longer. If we go through corpus it is longer but shorter time. I guess it probable wont matter much.
My buddy's house is on the south side of Rockport.
