Damn, when did braided line get so expensive, was like 40 bucks for 300yds of 40lb. Last time I restrug my reels it wan't nearly that expensive maybe like 20 bucks or so. Rant off I'm ready to go gonna leave early in the AM for Arlington then off to the beach.

I bought 300 yards of power pro at Academy for $21.99. It was 30lb. I don't think I will have to stop at my friends house since I got some stuff from my bro. I will have some coffee brewed when you get here so you can have something before the Colorado Koolaids.

I would encourage everyone to call the park conditions automated line. The lady is funny. Driving conditions are poor and the washboard will rattle your your truck loose according to the report. No report on fishing since the conditions are rough. There is still some flooding on the roads in Corpus. Also there is a beach cleanup on Saturday from 9-noon.
This all sounds like a fun trip is in our future.
