No, I am doing it. ACE sells a 75$ kit http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1383216 and I found out about it on Yotatech, there were a few people that have already been down this road obviously. and for $75.00... you can't beat it. comes with all you need, check out the video - http://www.herculiner.com/video_demos.html looks pretty easy.

Oh, no.. that sounds like trouble. Got a taste of rocks at Shiloh, I liked it. Need a damn "real" skid plate now. Don't like the 500$ tag on the bud builts but that is what to buy if you are serious. Holy Crap, it's only 279 for the 3rd gen. That is not bad at all for real protection. Ok, sold... saving my money.

Yeah, I'll be wheeling Clyde for sure. At least I can follow and not worry too much that way. Since I'll have the smallest tires by far I'll be taking some by-passes.
Skids are not cheap, but they are cheaper than not having skids.
Sam have you ever been to HF?

No never been, very interested in going. The main reason I haven't gone is my lack of knowledge/experience with rocks and no "real" Skid plate/armor. I will probably wait till I get a bud built skid before going all out at HF
