Just heard a rumor that my one and only open jobsite in Philly is shutting down at 11:30am today so my guys will be off w/o pay. Depending on why it's shutting down I may need to jump in a truck and go clean off our tools so we can mobilize elsewhere should the opportunity arise. If someone popped positive onsite - those tools can rot till the boss figures out how to safely get them back into circulation.

Also - I'm done coming into the office for work I could do at home ~ My home office is better equipped than my work office anyway lol

Still need to go to jobsites, but not this disgusting office

Wifes boss, CEO of company, is getting tested for COVID-19, he has gone downhill quick. Which sucks because she was in meetings with him all day Monday. Hopefully its just a cold.

That sucks big time!

Same shit happening here less the downhill health aspect. One of our estimators was told to stay home today and quarantine because his live in daughter who is a nurse had a patient pop positive. Now she's being tested whenever they get to her or if they even decide she needs it. In the meantime we are all in limbo. He sits in the open office w/two other teammates. CDC stopped tracking near here - it's gone to community spread. Best case is to act like everyone including yourself has it (especially family).

So glad I quarantined myself as much as possible for the past 3 weeks so other dipsticks could potentially get me sick at work:facepalm:

last time I did anything socially was paintball many weeks ago - way things are going glad I got some BS practice at moving targets rushing me

I'm not going to advocate for that, but risk of disease in prison is no reason to stop prosecuting criminals. There are consequences to our actions and getting a disease because you are already quarantined from society is just one of the risks. Should have thought about that before they did the crime.

Apparently his daughter was tested and it came back negative - all within a day. I didn't think that was possible here yet...last I knew about the self swab tests w/instant results were still in the testing phase for US distribution? I have a funny feeling there is a whole lotta BS being flung around

His daughter works at my sisters hospital on the same floor my mom was just a patient at 2 weeks ago so I could check.......but Ill let him slide if he's lying. Got bigger fish to fry right now

We sent a driver yesterday and they said it takes 48hrs for results, but I heard this morning that Houston had drive through testing locations going up.
