I need to order a couple things for the garden, I don’t want to adventure off to the stores, and I guess Amazon is so busy, their prime is now 4 to 5 days out now on most products.

Anyone else seeing longer delivery times?

Amazon has slowed down non-household and medical supplies delivery times. They are focusing on the critical stuff right as priority right now. My estimated delivery times have been longer but most stuff is getting delivered sooner than expected.

This has been horrible timing for my house because we were planning to restock our house when we got back from Death Valley. Little did we know we were going to hit this kind of event.

With the possibility of a small or regional outbreak here in the U.S.

How long do you think it take before grocery stores empty out in that region?

I ordered some oatmeal and it was to be delivered today and its now scheduled for Tuesday. But yeah, most things are taking a little longer.. I'm ok with it.

You warned about paper towel and trash bag shortages?

Whatever.

When are you going to warn everyone about the upcoming lotto numbers?

We buy all that stuff in bulk, so I didn't think about household consumables. Not having enough non perishable food items was my biggest worry.

The news over the years shows what happens when major hurricanes like Harvey, Rita, Katrina etc hit the gulf coast down here, the stores completely empty out, everything is either sold or stole!

Lotto warning, if you don’t play you don’t win.
I’m trying to figure out that lottery issue myself, lol

We buy the majority of our stuff in bulk and the timing to restock was right before our trip. So we pushed it behind the trip so as to not have a lot of packages sitting on the front porch while we were gone.

Local restaurants are starting to sell stuff in bulk, probably because they are not getting enough customers buying food.

No one has eggs around here, and when they do, there sold out quick. A neighbor asked me about eggs, and what I was doing and I told I bought 3 dozen eggs or so atleast a week before the chaos, fridge carton eggs can last 4 to 6wks. I also told her that I bought a ‘couple’ of the carton eggs, Egg Beaters and I freeze them, they last atleast a year in the freezer with no problem, except you need to freeze them on their side, so it doesn’t damage the carton when freezing, I actually had 8 cartons, (the pic is the outside fridge in the garage).

Well 7 now, I gave her one.
