A few medical people I have been keeping up with say it is more related to the number people going back to work getting mandatory screened. Plus a couple of the larger cities are now screening more and more people. The Dallas County Judge is screaming about all their cases but he has sent people door to door to screen "at risk" people. When they started doing 100% mandatory nursing home and jail testing the number jumped but nobody broke those numbers down saying they were from an isolated pocket of people that are not "on the sidewalk".

All of that plus people are now being allowed to travel means we are going to see an uptick in cases. But it is real telling when Dallas numbers jump through the roof and Ft Worth numbers rise a little. Seems like one is being manufactured and one is not.

sounds like he'd rather get on living his life instead of being a sheep hiding from his own shadow. If a vaccine is coming then it will come. Chances are your ass is gonna catch it before that ever happens. How long have we been waiting on vaccines for shit that still has no cure or real effective way to prevent...... common cold/flu

If wearing a mask when on jobsites and in my office keeps me alive and from getting OSHA fines...... it's just another piece of PPE I need to wear just like any other day. It's not like I have jobsites that don't require masks regardless of Covid so I don't really care all that much. Some jobsites I need a respirator - some a N95, and some, like operating rooms I need a full Tyvec suit and respirator. Just another day at work except now I keep purel in my bag and clean my hands after I remove my mask and before I get into my car. Then I pick my nose and rub my eyes all I want in traffic.

Really hasn't changed my daily life much at work but my social life has changed. That said I had friends over last Friday - the Friday before that and prob tonight. No one goes into my house and everyone's sitting around a fire pit. No ones getting shitfaced so that they do stupied crap. Wonder if my homeowners covers Covid infections .....

I did have a client put his hand out yesterday morning and I shook it immediately. Then the guy said sorry and I said for what? I'm masked up and wear glasses so it's not like Ill be rubbing my eyes or picking my nose until I'm "clean". Poor guy felt like a criminal - you could see it in his eyes how unhappy he was with himself. I chuckled inside

To each their own, but remember pretty much anyone who works is under OSHA mandates

I wear what I'm required to where I'm required to. Ill be decked out starting Monday when I arrive at the bus plant. Bump helmet, safety glasses, steel toed shoes, gloves and a damn face mask.
