My company said that if anyone a.)travels internationally, b.)goes on a cruise anywhere, c.) lives with someone who travels internationally, or d.) travels to an area with contamination that we are required to take a mandatory 2 week vacation. At first, I thought "That sounds awesome!" until I read the line about being required to use PTO. We get 3 weeks of PTO per year and people are about to get screwed having to use 2 of them to sit at home and do nothing.

We were told if we have to quarantine and test positive, that short term disability would be able to take affect. But if we quarantine and don't test positive, it's out if our vacation/PTO.

I just got a call for someone wanting table and chair rental for tomorrow morning at a residence, their girls birthday party at a business got canceled because the virus scare(I didn’t ask what business, but I’ll find out in the morning), others lose money, while others pocket.

I am going to go out and fill up my (2) 5 gallon gas tanks tomorrow. Not worried about a shortage ~ just concerned about the stations being closed. 10 Gallons will get me 300+ miles.
