flu has been around for 2k years, a lot of dumb asses don’t bother with the vaccine, COVID19 has been around less than 5 months, so the virus can affect a whole lot more asses(smart, rich, poor, big, tight, crack, sweet, phat, dumb and hot asses), there is a lot of unknowns when viruses like this spread, In China, those jack asses actually locked down 50-60 million people to minimize the impact in their country, Americans like there freedoms... the donkey asses and elephant asses can’t agree on much, so it’s up to you to take care of your own ass.
I would not be surprised if America ends up with a much higher death count than China. In China, the virus did not effect younger adults/children much, that’s not the case here from I seen reported.

If your working in a hospital environment, wear a n95 mask all day.
The virus can live within the air (indoors) up to 6hrs...
The air at the hospital where my wife works is almost 90% bleach fumes right now. They are high gear soaking/wiping/cleaning everything.

I have a new theory. Clearly the Coronavirus is attracted to light.

You can see that there is no shortage of evidence that the virus is attracted to light. So turn off your lights at night so that the Coronavirus won't know that you're home. It'll simply move on to your neighbors house and you will be safe.

Not all areas of a hospital have enough negative pressure. With all this extra cleaning, I wonder if some of the superbugs in the hospitals will decrease like MRSA, C.diff or CRE.

After this week’s garbage pickup, the plan is to start separating items that can be burned.
I noticed 3 different trash truck guys wearing PPE, never wore that stuff before....all it takes is a few guys to get sick and then the scheduled pick up times get delayed or skipped.

Dude - thats stocked up. I totally forgot I had any food in there. Ended up eating 9 chicken nuggets that were the least freezer dried with some broccoli and pasta last night for lunch and dinner
I don't use microwaves and haven't for many years so my frozen food intake is very slight. Not into the chemicals in the plastic everyone uses to reheat that stuff. I prefer my gas oven and burners.
Also never understood filling up a fridge or freezer w/o having back up power and I do not. My main power source here is pretty crappy ~ At least once a week it seems like I have to reset my clocks when I come home from work.
Hopefully when our reps get their heads partly out of their rears and let businesses know what to do, the layoffs may change for a couple weeks.
We laid off all of our union guys Monday. 2 office guys voluntarily laid themselves off because they can't work from home. Pretty sure this week our youngest estimator is being laid off by the boss. His numbers are down $497,000 this past quarter as in he sold 3k and needed to sell 500k so hes been picking his nose all year I guess praying for a 2 million dollar job to land.?. Bad timing for him to have a microscope on him. Our PM's have sold more than the estimators so thats telling..... I did tell the boss if it came down to it to lay me off first vs the guys living week to week w/families. Boss said he will evaluate everything Friday and let us all know. Just a matter of time before I am laid off as well if new work doesn't come in because Ill run out of work to do and I know my boss will not pay me to sit at home and do nothing.
I am very grateful I had my shit together before this hit us & only hope my guys are as prepared.
Thats what I'm thinking, but hoping doesn't come true. No ones ripping people out of houses when they have a temp and no ones checking citizens from apartment blocks prior to re-entry like they were. Our lockdown is a joke compared to theirs + they have socially accepted the wearing of masks and isolating their sick for decades as part of their culture. Hard to pass it to someone when you bow ~ Last week I still had morons trying to shake my hands here. They do have a TON of male smokers though. Big tobacco moved their marketing powaz to China when our US market started drying up so I think thats why their male death rate is so much higher than others. Females do not smoke.
If she's anything like my "indestructible" sister or mother....no. My sister has been a RN for over a couple decades and she has her head firmly planted up her ass throughout this whole process. She only has one mask, and refused to take any from my mom who has a ton of N95's in stock for her glass and leaded glass work. My sis even spent a year in a aids ward in NYC back when it first came out and didn't know everything about it so she knows better.
Cursed my mom and sister out last night for sneaking visits behind my back. My sister stopped to wash my moms dog and took her for a drive last night. No mask, no gloves, no hand washing, same car 1' away from each other, sister has had to work and could not stay home like everyone else here......
I lost it on both of them when I called my mom and heard her on bluetooth w/my sister in the background w/road noises. My moms 80 with about 5 preexisting conditions. While she is super healthy for her conditions - she is at major risk.
All visits now stopped and when my sister takes her staples out later this week so my mom doesn't need to go to the hospital for them to get taken out she will mask and glove up.
On my way home no one was at my corner store so I stopped in for some candy (one thing I never keep in stock due to my sweet tooth). Tried to give my buddy the clerk a new N95 mask, but he refused. At least he was gloved up, but that's more for mental health than actual safety if you keep your face exposed IMHO. Told him he was on the front line and to hit me up if he wants it and Ill drive one down.
