China locked down 50-60 million people.

Americans like their freedoms...Walmart and Hardware stores open, business as usual, except reduced hours, like my neighbors who went to HD yesterday to buy a trailer of mulch and lumber.

Also their numbers are probably skewed.

One example, when I watch the news and see Texas troopers at the Louisiana border, in close proximity, talking to thousands of motorists and No PPE.

or the lines at the food pantry, folks are packed tight in line waiting, no 6ft spacing.

I have seen on the news at different Covid19 testing sites and secondary workers are just wearing surgical masks, which are no bueno.

How about the Amazon workers who have tested positive? Well the virus can live on cardboard up to 24 hours, now distribution of the virus from the delivery drivers and out to the community. Think about that, the next time you order something online.

My local HD has issued a request for one person per vehicle. I was in there yesterday picking up supplies for a project and still saw kids running around, people touching everything they looked at, and crowded aisles. This is why the measures have to be extreme because so many people have a "never happens to me" mentality. We are having confirmed cases of the virus in my small town now too. People still to not get it.

I find the part that says "NJ, CT, NY residents are to self quarantine in TX AFTER they arrive" sad. WTF.... either shut it down or keep it open. This grey line wishy washy bullshit is going to have us all stuck inside 10x longer. I get the fear of hysteria and riots, but IMHO half assing this thing so people "feel good" mentally is silly.

I'm ready to lock down the morons. Must have seen 50+ cars come in and out of my court this past weekend. Town in NJ stopped its 5th wedding idiots were trying to have during these times. Holy crap people are freaking dumb....especially with entire families being killed by this kind of tarded activity.

Obtaining home project materials right now are not worth the risk of public exposure.

And if you were in there and someone sneezed hours before you arrived or while in the store, you just placed you and your sandwich maker at risk.

Ill be out of smokes today or tomorrow. Plan is to not continue making it easy for this virus to kill me off let alone go out and invite it to kill me off
