Here's when the coronavirus will peak in your state

1,300 U.S. deaths in past 24hrs and additional 35K more cases.

I know that stats are either really old or bad. Texas has had at least 5 recovered from covid-19 with/without complicating issues.

Who knows but those numbers are very "hopeful" IMHO.

They forecast NJ to have 2k deaths by August. We are at 645 as of this morning and have not hit peak saturation yet.

Hopefully it's right, but I'd assume it will be much worse.

There is going to be data lag, it’s better than nothing, and it’s much easier to track death(Hospitals have mandatory or requirements to report deaths within ~72hrs) vs no mandatory guidance for reporting on recoveries, “CDC guidance may be adapted by state, cities etc...”

On world news last night, the reporter was at one NY hospital, the hospital had 12 refrigerator/freezer semi trucks, basically running out of places to put bodies.
Cremators are asking the EPA to lift restrictions, because they can only operate for X amount of hours during X time frames.

& the dead won't be tested thus true numbers will never be known.

also doesn't help procure data when we just had one of the worst seasonal flu strains hit us right before #19.

Last night I saw NYC telling people to please stop bringing dead people to the er. Said if no pulse - stay at home

No, there is a CDC requirement right now to report Covid19 deaths at the hospitals, the ones already dead not going to hospitals, probably not counted, and they probably will not be testing the deceased, IDK...

IDK about you guys, my boys and I were due for haircuts before all this shit started, hair clippers are in very high demand, we have a POS one now, so I spent 45min this morning doing a little bit of research and looking for availability, I ended buying an Oster 76 kit (tons of replacement parts, quality clippers) made in Merica, should be here in about a week based off Amadong forecast.

Finally found a map with the cases plotted. Looks like super dense urban areas are screwed - but that has been the case every time we have a "pandemic" of any sort. Yearly flu infections are always heavier in the urban areas because there are more people to infect and the population density is much much higher.

But it’s far more contagious and deadly than the flu. This short 3 min video that I saw night on the news is disheartening, and shows how some people show little to no disregard to others if infected.

Good luck man. Took me a while just to find my mom some bias tape for her small operation. Elastic was sold out a while ago around here so she switched to that.
