If that is worse thing you did today it is not a horrible day.

So my local plant is needing me to come onsite on Monday. They have a couple issues that need to be worked on in person. I am not going to hang around any longer than necessary since they have already had one confirmed case onsite for a few days.

you need to let them know your considered high risk and can’t go

I had to go to New York for work this week, man that sucked ass. Stayed at a hotel and was stuck eating fast food at night because everything local was closed after working 12+ hr days. Glad to be home again and I don’t think I have the Rona. Funny they say stay home if you’re not essential, somehow my company thinks I am, my pay certainly isn’t reflected in that title. I told my boss I wouldn’t go unless absolutely necessary and he told me to pack my shit lol

Part of my gig. I am glad to work from home as much as I do and will protect myself as much as possible while onsite Monday.

exactly why I bought everyone a mask with N99 carbon inserts for my family back in later part of January, it was all about the unknown at the time...
I did offer them up to my neighbor firefighter at cost last week, he said that he was good, but I’m thinking I should probably keep them now, it might be the new norm come summer. I asked my parents at the time and they laughed at me, my dad said I don’t plan on going to China, and I said you don’t have to, it(Covid19) was already here(Jan 26th iirc). I should have order some more anyways.

Anyways, I will be heading off in the morning for a curbside pickup of groceries, I may have to learn to drive again, lol

Friend of mine had been home so long she had to jump off her vehicle because the battery had died. Hopefully people continue to wear masks when they feel bad to protect other people from their health issues.

Thanks! I was definitly a little sketched out. I have a few masks at home, and I swiped a few rolls of TP from the hotel, along with some hand sanitizer from the plant I was at. I went food shopping on the way back, so I shouldn't have to leave the house for a good while. Good thing is I have plenty of projects I can work on around here, that list never seems to get any shorter.

You should be fine if you follow PPE recommendations (mask/gloves/etgc.). Still a mental hurdle, but that subsides within 15 days lol

Ive been keeping a log of my job exposure because it is a record-able incident god forbid.

Hows power consumption? Up with everyone home or down w/no commercial production?

So since you left a 14 day quarantine state for another 14 day quarantine state are you stuck at home for 28 days.... cause thats a bad date... You know "28 days later" lol

Keep them. I did the same for my sister. You aren't hording them. Family first.

Ive got some of the N100 filters from 3m...never heard f the N99. Pretty sure the pre filters are N95 all by themselves but I could be wrong

I'm having all my guys glove and mask up right now. And I'm checking their temp when they arrive. I'm also surprise attacking them with another temp check during their shift lol

Can't make this shit up... Philly, Houston, Baltimore all named as new potential hot spots yesterday. Today Philly's testing site shuts down due to lack of funding.

I wish there was a way to route out the corruption in this, call out the corrupt, then stone them to death in public. I know pockets are being lined - they always are.

Yep. Everyone is being taken advantage of. We are getting ass raped on supplies right now and most of our vender are to blame.

10% max price increase here per law, but people are charging more. Luckily all my work supplies are not in demand besides PPE for the guys and while that blows none of my jobsites are open so I don't fear for their safety on my projects. 1/4 of our guys are deciding to stay home due to lack of PPE/feel unsafe/have a cough and it helps that unemployment is paying them more to stay home rt now then work or so they have told me. Not sure I believe that either - nothing is free and the IRS will always want their cut.

power prices are way surpressed due to alot of companies being shut down so the demand is way less. and now I'm fucked yeah, "28 days later" is not going to end well for me lol

I did check my shop and I have a few cases of harbor freight gloves as well, so that's always good thing
