I'd consider it a success. World markets plunged so now no ones got the microscope on their inflated overvalued currency that was dropping like a rock before this outbreak. Some people were just coming around to the fact that they were taking a position to rule the world sooner than later. Maybe now it will sink in a little more.... or maybe not. Vermont is "thinking" of opening construction back up.... WTF you waiting for? My guys all have so much training I feel better on my job sites than being at a hospital w/pro's. It's the medical professionals I see doing stupied shit - not construction workers. Ive got a firm hand on that crap on my jobs - anyone caught on any of my jobs not wearing the OSHA mandated PPE is removed and not allowed back. Ain't got no time for deniers and politics. Rules are rules.

Already caught one moron who wouldn't work for a month but when he comes back refuses to wear a mask. By by falicia..... I'm not getting fined by OSHA or sued by his family when his immune suppressed family member dies off or whatever. OSHA made it easy for me by making covid a record-able incident. Removed all politics from it from my standpoint.

Dang. My meeting on Tuesday I got told to expect to be back in the office sometime in June.

My boss has reiterated that "no one is in jeopardy of losing our jobs. just stay the course" over the last several weeks. Today, we were informed that our part timer was let go. They plan to bring him back when things get back to normal, but he still isn't working for us right now.

Shit.... we are just outside the HOT zone of NY and NJ and everyone's back to work here except one guy that's in his 60's w/underlying conditions and can work from home. We even just brought back our salesman who is a "contractor". I'm sure we will feel it eventually, but not in 2020 for sure. Right now we are choking on work so it's all hands on deck. So far our guys that wanted to work were laid off for one day due to Covid so that's less than normal for spring.

My drive home yesterday had the first bad traffic jamb/delay Ive encountered in months. Hot day + Friday + my house is between Philly and the NJ Beaches = Arrrrrrrgghhhhh

Can't really complain though - last few weeks has been great w/lower volume. Reminds me of my commute 20 years ago

Welp our Dentists and Eye Dr's are starting to open back up so here's to not procrastinating any longer so when we all get locked down again in fall I won't have headaches from old glasses and cavity pain to add to the BS. Making appointments today with both.

Yep my wife is back to work at her office. They have to wear more PPE than before but at least they can work. I need those checks coming back in as my wife is getting used to staying at home!

Tell you one thing Ive noticed.... Wearing a mask on jobsites and in the office/warehouse when out of my specific office makes my body produce 10x the normal amount of boogers
