Both work for me. Maybe January over December. Plus hunting season would be over, meaning less bubbas in the woods. I can start some route planning and research for some new trails east of 259 into Arkansas. Might be a little bit but one of us can start up a new thread once everything is figured out.

January will be some freeze-your-ass-off weather, so I'm game. I'm at BB for thanksgiving, so December is less attractive for me...

January works better for me as well. This house selling shit is sliding everything and if we sell if we'll be at my parents over the holidays. (big if) But let's get a few folks interested and make it happen. It's easier to carry extra socks than an AC unit.

Okay so January looks like a good time to shoot for. It may be cold but most of the time is in the truck. A fire will be good, plus no snakes or mosquitos in January.

I would be more up for a BB trip. Never been there and have been wanting to scratch that place off my bucket list for a while.

You are going to hate me but this discussion is one thing that keeps me in this hell hole!!! 12 months out of the year here - just pick the temp you want and head to that elevation. This weekend I wanted to be in the 40s at night. Got that... Then we wanted one night in the 50s-60s so we headed to the hot springs.

It was cool but its pretty much the Ozark mountains but smaller. I will do some planning and research this week at work and try and get a location nailed down.

We have ass hats here but I'm sure its a whole different bread. With the way our country is going communist rule is not too far in the near future for all of us.
