Any thoughts on MTX JackHammer amps?

The only way they will produce their rated power output is if lightning strikes them. They are WAY overrated in terms of the power they produce. You get what you pay for.

I need to start giving this some thought as well in the very near future since I will be DDing the 85 for a while. I need to clean out the back seat to see what kinda area I have to work with. I have the Amps a JL 500/1 and 300/4 need to figure out the deck and sub situation. Maybe an 8W7.....

I'm buying Andy's Kenwood amp and I think I'm gonna pick up that Pioneer TS-W1008 sub. My boss has two in his car and they sound just like what I'm looking for.

Just order one. You'll save yourself a ton of headache in the long run. Its not that much more $$ than buying the materials to do it either.

No way! Maybe he's just no longer on TW, he was a good guy, I'm sure he got sick of their BS as well. Do a Google search for his name, he's on other forums as well.

You can always call him at 831-383-0308 thats what i did. He know his shit and can get you set up good. He helped me decide on my set up.
