what are you going to use to bond the plastic inner bed together

He's from east Tx so I'm going to say wood screws and duct tape.

I used the piece I sectioned out and sleeved the two halfs together and then put bolts in it, would have liked to use epoxy or something but havn't been able to find anything that sticks to this composite stuff very well.

It's on my list of things to fix, just not very high on that list as I'm not sure what I want to do with it.

And the saga of the blue turd continues, pulled the drain plug on the new to me diff (as it had a leak at the CV and I needed to re seat it) and no fluid comes out. So I think it might be same to assume that with the relatively low capacity of the front diff that I may have lost all the oil and the way back from bryan about 150 miles or so. Is there any way to inspect the gears and bearings for damage without cracking the clamshell open? It wasn't making any out of the ordinary sounds but then again the tires and wind noise are pretty damn loud and I could barely hear my busted rear ring and pinion. Thoughts, advice, just fill it and re seat the joint and go about my business or should I try to have a further looksy?

Was there any metal shavings on your drain plug? I'd just fill it up and see how it goes. Maybe in a hundred miles drain it and check the drain plug. But if its hosed from your 150 mile jaunt then another 100 miles for testing can't cause too much more trouble.

This sounds like your best bet to me.
