LOL, I'll put a stereo in mine one of these days, just really low on my list right now. Admit it that shit was funny, or maybe I've just been drinking too much.

You mean a pink AA powered stereo sitting in the dash wouldn't be cool

I was rocking a solar powered am/fm radio last time I wheeled. So stereo is LOW on my list as well.

My Milwaukee radio might be battery powered, but it is NOT pink, it is red that happens to be a little faded. My brother in-laws set up however.......

I remember that shit. Worked pretty damn good IMO!

Yeah, that little solar powered job isn't half bad. Its not going to disturb the neighbors or anything, but its a good radio.

Well, yon blue turd hath shit its second rear R&P today. What I though was a dying U-Joint turned out to be a tooth or two missing off the ring gear one of them has become jammed inbetween something and has locked up the rear end. Gonna have to pull the rear third tomorrow. This leaves me with 2 options, replace a second R&P set and prolly tear it up again at some point or go out and find something stronger. Decision, decisions. Will know more tomorrow when I pull the rear third.

Where are you having your gears installed? Have you considered using a differnt gear oil? Are you "breaking in" your new gears?

Gears are toyota OEM 3.73s installed at the dealer and properly broken in not thrashing on them from the get go gave them about 1000 smooth easy miles and changed the oil after the first 500 then second 500 with some cheap stuff then moved along to some o'reilly synthetic changing that every 10K. When I drained it after it locked up on me there were two ring gear teeth stuck to the mag on the drain plug odd that there was nothing on it when the noise first started happening. I'll know more tomorrow, I'm leaning toward the crush sleeve on the pinion failed causing the R&P to go due to a bad pattern. I could build a beefier rear end with some good gears(kryoed yukons) and a solid spacer rather than crush sleeve but is it really worth the money vs building a larger rear 1 ton rear.

If Toyota will fix it again under warranty, then go for it.

They didn't fix it the first time I just got the gears from them they were set up by Joe over on TTORA, he is a master tech/shop foreman at champion toyota of houston.

You sportin' Fwd for now?

As of the moment I'm sporting no wheel drive, taking the work truck back and forth to work I'll have the rear third pulled tomorrow and then I'll just remove the ring gear and rock it FWD till I decide what to do.

Interesting side not my factory gears were stamped TOYOTA, and the replacements that I got from the dealer were stamped DANA.

Sucks Randy, at the rate you are killing them, I would say to try & build a stronger rear end.

I'm thinkin one ton for the cost of building a bullet proof toy rear end I could have a 14bolt full floater.
