The Shottenkirk Toyota dealership in Granbury, Tx was raided by the local police executing a search warrant for the FCC. The dealership initially denied the allegations on social media calling the statements lies but quickly deleted the statement once people started posting eye witness statements from customers in the dealership when it happened.

The dealership chain is possible one of the worst I have ever dealt with and I am not surprised at all.

The post i saw was related to 1 person and it was contracts with various descripancies. Added warranty, inflated prices, and stuff like that.
Their weatherford location is not any better. I did get my current 4runnner there and was under a bit of a time crunch. I get there and they wanted to charge for CPO, reconditioned fees and crap like that. I walked out and they called me the next day. I get there and the interest rate was way higher. I go to leave again and magically the rate came down 4%. I was very meticulous with the paper work and felt okay, but the average buyer would have fallen for their tactics.

What he said. There are people lined up with evidence of extended warranties and bullshit up charges being added to their signed contracts after they left the dealership. A few people even said the salesman in question was their sales guy that added paperwork to their contract with forged signatures.

The agent they were raiding was in Greece with his girlfriend at the time. She had been posting some pretty fancy stuff and people started calling them out for it. The blowback was impressive; we are talking $4k a day yacht rentals and $2k dinners.

Work this week is absolutely kicking my ass. I am off next week and Europe goes off for August holiday. EVERYONE is trying to get so much work assigned out while I am trying to just get a few things pushed far enough forward I can take 5 simple days off.

I hear ya. We started a 2 week Sprint on Monday, I was given 12 tasks... on Monday after work I was called by my director and asked if I could get it all done by this Friday. Well guess what... it was all done by this morning at 9AM. I did work a long on Tuesday and I put AI to use.

This is one of those projects I really wish I could use AI but due to the nature of the documents I have been denied.

I had a non english speaking driver run into one of my buildings this morning. Caused at least $50k worth of damage.

I told my wife that whoever is praying for more work for me needs to chill out...or at least specify the type of work.

She is doing really good. At first she was stiff, afraid to turn her head. But today she is doing fine. Scar is there, and its a little bigger than I anticipated, maybe 3" long. But it will heal up nicely. I bought her a dog as a surgery gift. We now have 4 dogs. I am an idiot. LOL
