Back from a week vacation at Hilton-Head South Carolina. Absolutely gorgeous place and Southwest has direct flights there from Houston now so it's under a 2 hour flight there. We stayed at the Sea Pines resort and got the hotel room for cheap as they are busy setting up structures for the Heritage golf game (it didn't bother us at all so we'll gladly take that discount). BMW is the sponsor car for the game and they have about a 100+ BMW X7's and X5's there on the island to cart people around. Crazy to think how much money is just sitting there on the island for that weekend.

I had this Mazda 3 as a rental with only 2k miles on it. Talk about a straight POS car. I'm 6' and I damn near knocked myself out trying to get into the car the first time as the doors are too small and my head was touching the roof (no seat height adjustment that I could find). If you're over 5'-6", you're screwed trying to use this thing. The ride was stiff and really bumpy as well. Interior was straight garbage.

The car said it was getting 31MPG but I don't believe that at all as we drove the car at slow speeds for a couple of hours and used a 1/4 tank of gas. I can't believe they'd make a car like this in 2025/2026.

@thekidcatcher got himself a swanky used 1794 Tundra. Pretty nice truck! He got rid of his daily car, a GT86, for this. He is planning on modifying the Tacoma to be a bit more of a hard core trail crawler and just tow it to Colorado with the Tundra every year to wheel. (ignore the BMW, that was getting sold for a friend and isn't his).

Getting back home today after six days in Cancun. It was nice to get away but was a few days to long.

So I weighed myself this morning after the vacation. There were stairs, long hours in the pool, mornings walks on the beach (was going for those points), and I tried to stay heavy on the protein. I did lose 5 lbs of weight and the Sammich Maker is not the happiest about it. lol

Back when I drank beer and would go on a cruise... I made it my goal to double/triple or quadruple the value of my drink package with the number of beers I would drink. Same with the main dining... my ass got fat.... well.. fatter!

Why the hell is the work week so damn long?!?! I gave up two days ago. I still need to swap out a busted headlight from that doe I clobbered back in February and mow the grass. What the hell...
This has been a long work week for sure. I'm glad it's my Friday today.

That's Mr Asshole to you
I agree that this has been a long week. While I am off work early tomorrow, I have a meeting with the prosecutor, then a 300 mile drive down to the farm.
