Have any of yall tried this? Its supposed to only take a teaspoon per mound to kill.

I buy bags of SEVIN, I add some corn meal to it, and shake it up in old large parmesan container, the corn meal entices the ants to take the poison down into the colonies.

Ill check them out tonight. If I do start, Ill need to take care of my squirrel issue on the DL otherwise Ill get wiped out. Pretty sure with 2 weeks at home I could come up with a way to relocate them w/o issue.

A havahart trap and a 30 gallon trash can, they love to go swimming. Sometimes I even tie a small cinderblock to their leg to remind me of how my elders used to do it lol

A lot of seeds germinated yesterday where the burn pit was and with this light rain for the past few hours, this will definitely help.

We probably have a few days of sunshine early next week too. Looks like my weekend is going to be spent hacking the grass and weeds in my yard.

yes sir, I’m will be doing the same, and hope to finish my Victory Garden, it’s been too dry to mow, and tons of pollen and weeds are 1ft+ tall.
This rain is going to knock a lot of this pollen out of the trees.

I also have a neighbors pasture to shred and disc up, she has zero vegetation worth a crap on there because her horses ate everything and she let it go to firebrush, bullnettle etc. I told would I would not do any work until we get enough rain, nothing worse than try to shred in a desert like pasture. The pasture is in really bad shape, I’ll try and remember to grab a picture, my boys spent all day over there yesterday picking up tree limbs/branches and weedeating around trees and along fence lines.

I just greased everything, and adjusted the mowing height. I bet a 1/4lb of dust/sand came out of the prefilter, it was crazy.

I only got a little bit of work done on the Victory Garden, the weather has been quite nasty all day. A few of my pepper plants got damage from either high winds or the short periods of heavy rain. Sunk a 4x4 post in for the gate and wired up the electric fence unit in the shop.

High humidity this morning and I noticed some light/mist rain headed our way, so I was able to burn off the burn pit this morning.

After this burns out, I’m closing the pit, if anything/one is missing, there is nothing there to find.\

I’m known as Carl Spackler in my yard.

It’s amazing how much destruction these pocket gophers are capable of doing to a yard, this is a nesting mound.
