Its the Raisin. My mom had some pics framed for me for my b-day this year. I thought it was cool.

I did manage to get my 60 gallon 220v compressor over to the house today (what a heavy bitch!), its not wired in yet nor is it plumbed. I bought another 41" roller chest to complement the other 41" roller chest I have. One for SAE. one for Metric :) New TIG comes in next week. Also managed to finished up the loft are above the garage door for storage, its 20' wide x 4' deep. I'll get pics tomorrow. I built a laminated beam out of 2x4's, its Liquid Nailed and bolted together with 15 3/8"'s inch bolts, its basically a 4x4.5" beam. Also ran 2 3/8's inch all thread rods through the beam up through the ceiling and through a 2x8" that sits across the rafters. So it should be plenty strong to store shit on. No pics. I was beat when it was completed. But it still needs a coat of paint so its not pretty. :) Figure I'll hit that when I do the walls in the garage.. way down the road when I want to buy 10 gallons of paint. But tomorrow I'm renting a U-Haul to move boxes from storage and from the lease house and moving as much as possible. The movers come on Monday to handle the heavy shit. The painters are still in the place, my budget for paint is way over at this point. Dude WAY underbid his work portion, unfortunately for me I'm stuck with the paint costs which are double. I have purchased about 35 gallons of paint over the past few days, not cheap shit either. Supposedly they say they'll finish tomorrow but I'm not feeling it. Either way, we are moving shit over.

Its not your fault the painter underbid. If that guy signed a contract then he is responsible for said work. The GC should have caught that low bid as well and told him it wasn't right...

Oh I know that... the cost for labor to me is the same. I just pay for materials (paint).. and that has increased a shit ton. But its about done.. maybe 4-6 hours of work left. When all is said and done they painted every wall, every pieces of trim (baseboards, crown, door jambs) and doors. So it was a shit-ton of work on the guy. The only thing left to paint is the garage walls. That will be another day.. I just want the shit thats in work to be done. I rented a smaller 14' U-Haul truck today and made 5 trips with it. Loaded up boxes from the house as well as another storage unit. Tomorrow we'll have another 2 trips and be done with that little truck. Then the movers come on Monday to handle the big and heavy shit.

A bigger garage? I think you may need to consolidate some of your stuff into my garage.

Or get rid of a 4" grinder or 2. Maybe a TOR Garage sale? Then there is an excuse to meet up and drink.

Got the garage plumbed for air. Used the RapidAir system. 1/2" lines around garage. I have 4 drops for air. The last one though is not where I wanted it. Ran out of hose, I figured 100' would be plenty. But for now it will work.

IR 1/2" regulator/water separator out of the compressor.

Haven't gotten them yet...but just pulled the trigger on 2 outdoor night vision security cameras by Logitech as I got a decent employee purchase discount (35% off). Should be an easy install. Plan on one in the back yard and one in the front.

Didn't know Logitech made security cameras. They make some bad ass wireless keyboards/mice.

We did a Lorex 8 camera setup with a 500 Gig HD a while back. Its pretty cool. The night vision is surprisingly good. It made the wife happy since the crime has picked up in our area.

I have learned one thing. Don't accidentally set off the alarm at our house and try to come through the back door, due to the fact that my wife will meet you there with a 9mm in your face.

Got around to installing the Polk Audio in-ceiling speakers in the garage this weekend. Hooked them to an old HK receiver. Added a Klipsch 10" sub. Damn it rocks! Sounds great actually. For now the receiver is just on he bench but I need to get some steel and build a wall mount for it. Also need to hook up the Klipsch Quintets, 5.1 setup. But even without the Quints it still sounds great.

Also finished wiring up the media room. Holy hell it sounds amazing! Over 2200 watts in a 7.1 config. No pics of that though.

I replaced the primer bulb on my Stihl Weed Wacker. Its surprising how such a small crack can affect the over performance of the machine. It runs like new. Took it for a test drive behind the garage. Nice!

Tonight: installing a new chain on the chainsaw to finish my tree destruction in the front yard. A tree that drew first blood.

Hope the saw matches the weed wacker.. I'm standardize on Stihl now, love their stuff. Wish they made a lawn mower besides the battery operated one's they currently make (no really... they make one)

What model weed wacker do you have and do you like it? Got my dad an Echo but took it back because their new head/line feed system is terrible.

I bought the cheapest one at walmart that was gas. It has no ballz... But 2 year warranty for 10$... When it gets hard to start or I mess it up I'll just get a new one.

I just cleaned up my down stairs Captains quarters. Its nice to have a guest room that I can lock out of the main condo.. We had guests this weekend and I just locked the door at 12 at night haha.

Eh? The quick feed or whatever its called? I like it. What I DONT like is constantly getting hit in the face by debris because their guard sucks.
