Built a grinder tree for the garage. Its not done yet. I plan to weld some tabs on the main leg to allow me to zip tie the power cords out of the way as well as mount a power strip that they all plug into. I will also fill the main leg (3x3) with some sand to give it some down low weight as well as cut down on harmonics. Then weld a cap on the top and paint it red. Should work nice.. pull it out when I need it.. roll it back into the corner when I don't.

Will also round off these corners, just the right height that a little one would smack their head on it!

Grinders are just setting on there for now, need to go pickup some mounting hardware and drill holes.

Sean, you never seize to impress me. Where is the BL can?

I think I'll have to do that. Plug it into a 20 amp outlet and let em rip!!

Before you do that, mount them stem to a motor so it spins!

I'm currently hooking up a dishwasher. Thank God the last contractor left me enough slack to hook up the electrical directly to the washer vs having to put a box&outlet in.

Thats not the Tacoma on the charger.. its the trail rig. I had loaned out my charger and just got it back. Figured I would put it on the trail rig since its been cold and I haven't started it in months... hooked it up and it was still totally full. Not needed. Then I was too lazy to put it away.

Had all 4 grinders cranked up at once... No vibes, no walking. Worked great. Still need to fill the center with sand, HD didn't have any sand?? Guess I'm strealing from my kids sand box. . It's not done yet, still need to wrap the power cords all up.

Was given a 40,000 BTU propane heater yesterday. Man I love this thing! Its pretty small but it cranks out the heat. It was in the upper 30's last night and I would crank it up and it would heat the garage up to t-shirt temps quick! I'd say 10 minutes or so and it was warm in there. I used it twice in a 3 hour period. I need to blow in some insulation over the garage.

Built the wife a wine bottle tree for the patio. Still need to dick with the "legs" a little but I'll wait until it gets full of bottles before I cut anything back. Next is to get some bottles on it and figure out how to light it up.

Created some "knot holes" by welding in a circle and then taking a ball peen hammer and smacking it with a 3lb drilling hammer. Made a nice dent that I then welded around again. Hey its a tree, its ok to be fucked up. I used a scotchbright disk and sanded back the mill scale in rows to simulate bark.. now when it rusts it should have a pretty cool texture. I'll be spraying it down with salt water from a spray bottle.
