Picked up a Samsung BluRay at Christmas but it didn't connect to my Harmon Kardon receiver... No HDMI. So I bought a refurb'd Denon AVR E300. Man this thing is sweet. I can control it from my phone or tablet. Sounds awesome and it's got HDMI!!

Also note the Atari 2600 retro machine with 76 games built in. Old school Adventure FTW! lol

Garage sounds awesome!

I still need to clean up the wiring though.

Picked up a temp controller for my kegerator. Eventually it will move to my brew stand to control my HERMS setup. But until then it will keep my beer at 36 degrees.

Cheers.

36! Thats no way to drink beer... 32 is mo betta!

So to the non home brewer... how does your kegerator work? I'm envisioning an old fridge with a keg stuffed inside it with a tap bolted to the front door. Thinking in my head that the fridges temp controller would suffice. :)

I'm going to go with 36 because the variety of beer I will keep in there. Not all beers need to be served at freezing temps to hide their piss flavor. My kegerator is just an old fridge with my kegs inside of it, CO2 bottle (which still needs to be moved outside of the fridge), and bar taps drilled through the door. I still need to adjust the beer lines to get the resistance down to control foaming right. I cut them long when I installed it so as I could trim them down as needed.

This temp controller addition now will control the temp by allowing me to set the fridge on the coldest level but the temp controller actually controlling when it comes on and how long it runs.

So you plug your fridge into the controller?

Did some modifications to the wife's wine tree. Cut down some of the longer "branches", welded them back in other places, also added some more 3/8's "branches" and a root system.

Interesting. My wife bottled another 6 gallons of wine tonight. In her opinion it was a major home improvement.

I've got maybe $45 in rebar in it at this point. I actually have bout $15 more but I didn't use 3 pieces so it really only $45 or so. (Not counting the stick of DOM I had laying around) Key is to bend everything as crooked as possible to give it an organic look and feel.

The man cave has new flooring and LED can lights. One solid sheet of vinyl for the floor. Wanted to do tile but it would have required a lot more work and money. Next on the list is to start on the walls.

Is the man cave in the garage?

Is the man cave in the garage?

It is detached from the house in the back yard. 225 square feet with its own AC and cable plus some attic storage. Plans are a bar, TV, mild sound system, and a few other things.
