Mine has gone up 30% in the last 2 years. Fucking taxes. Didn't realize how well the housing market is in my area till yesterday. My sister in law is trying to buy a house in my area and has put in 2 offers for full asking. Got beat out both times from someone offering over asking. One was a cash offer.

Yeah, I couldn't believe how much we sold our house for even a year ago

Yeah I can't complain too much.. our house was initially undervalued (property tax wise) by about $120k.. so an increase of 12% wasn't too bad. Could have been worse. If I was to build the same house today in our neighborhood it would cost $115 more than I paid 18 months ago...which is ~135k more than my taxes are for. So I guess as long as values go up up and up.. and I'm behind the bell curve for taxes.. I can't complain. But I will. :)

After how fast I got the pavers down and leveled out - - - maybe? We wanted to get it done tonight so as the rain this week didn't wash it all away. Anyways it is 95% done tonight. I missed one paver so I have to pick it up this week. We also want to do a few aesthetic things but they are not critical.

You are suppose to be holding a beer after something like that.

Come on down man. I have an area that needs that done as well. I'll supply beer. No really. I'll buy beer. :).

Still trying to figure out which beer I want tonight.

It might be cheaper to pay someone rather than keep me supplied in beer while I work. lol

Thanks, I am really looking forward to how it fills out with the honeysuckle.

I sure felt like it this morning. We'll see how well my rock work holds up.

This is what the honeysuckle should look like; except better managed.
Honeysuckle smells pretty good too. That the thing about pavers, its all about that base, bout that base.

We can thank thank the "immigrant" Komifornians for the increased house prices. ;)

I know we can around Granbury. They are the ones bragging about how "little" they gave for their houses while they are still 20-30% overpriced for the area.

Had my plumber run new sewer lines for my parents house and two of our rent houses. The old cement and cast iron sewer lines were chock full of roots. I'm just glad that I don't have to roto root all the houses every six months now. :)
