If it was in a wet/snowy area you performed a miracle because the ice dams kill everything around here.

He thinks so too. I remember installing that thing about 10 times in my brain before doing it - kinda like how Tiger Woods plays golf before the game.Nice!

Picked up a new hedge trimmer. My old (3 year) Troy Built XP is fucking junk... thing leaks gas when you turn it on its side. Kinda sucks for trimming bushes. I've replaced the gas cap but it does the same thing. So... picked up a new Echo today. I like it. Not a Stihl but I'll run TruFuel through it and hopefully it will last.

x2!I will not be showing my wife that.![]()

Laser bush removal FTW!
Well since I am loosing the kid who mows my grass later in the summer I've been getting things together to do it myself. Ordered 2 new 20x10x8 turf tires and picked up a new battery (old one was 230 CCA new one is 400.. I "think" it will fit. Fingers crossed) for the JD rider today. Also found the rear bagger attachment for it on sale at Lowes (sale ends today) for about $90 off. Only things left are to change the plug and oil on the Honda pushmower and make sure the string trimmer runs (it should I used it not too long ago). Wife said she would drive the mower around to mow as long as I edged. Hmm.. not sure if that is a good deal or not.
Yeah I did the sidewall patch a while back and it held but I didn't notice the sidewall dry-rot until now. Its a 2009 model JD with only 102 hours on it. Tires don't know that though. I think I might look for some front tires now. Might as well get it ready.
