I'll just do what @Silverback said. Or, now that I think about it, it's super easy to disconnect and has a carry handle on the top. So honestly, I'll just pull the pin at the back and put it inside the house during a freeze.

if anyone here is ever going to buy an apartment/condo or whatever in a community type building be sure to ask to walk the loading dock/basment/mechanical room and then show up unannounced early. You will learn allot about potential future issues if you keep your eyes open on the walk.

if you see possum traps in the city baited with entire oranges and full size marshmallows - run & run fast. I'm working on a NGO thats trying to cure cancer and this is the building they are doing it in. The rats are so invasive they have the same traps on every floor of the building. Makes me think the NGO never walked the building because if you want to put a hermetically sealed lab in the building that has walls full of rats - prob not the best environment.

Heck I'm a hockey fan and I don't even know our new star's name. The other guy is just another rapper/horrible role model for today's youth Ive only heard of because he's a local celebrity in the city of brotherly love lol


Just had a 120" x 78" lite break on my guys while installing it at a local 7/11. No one got hurt bad - just a few stitches witch is like a carpenter getting a splinter, but still grounds for the boss to come up and berate me I guess.?.

I told him if he intended to keep owning and managing his company he had better get used to glass breaking especially when we process $2,000,000.00 a year in glass breakage repairs. Idiot forgets what I used to say to him when I was his boss and he broke glass I bought. My first question is always "is everyone OK/not hurt" followed by "don't beat yourself up - learn from what you did wrong so you don't do it again" and that's the last we speak of it. Most of my guys are good and beat themselves up far worse than I ever could.

That's the type of leadership I'd work under! The only time I get mad when my guys screw up is when they don't tell me about it. I tell my guys that that we are human, we make mistakes and it's how we fix them that defines our quality of work.

Exactly! I do not mind a mistake the first time. The second time it was not a mistake and that I do have an issue with.

Also got the camping table set up as a temporary "desk" so I dont have to use the kitchen table anymore which is located directly outside the bedroom door. Taylor wants the 32" TV back in the spare bedroom where it goes and uts a tad bit more than I need for a second monitor. So I have a proper desk on order as well as a 27" monitor. This will work in the mean time though. Also notice the WallControl panels in the bottom cor er that I still havent hung up in the garage. Too hot to work out there right no . I'll keep working on the man cave until it cools down e ough to work in the garage.

at the end of the day all you need to ask is "did the glass come from China" and if the answer is yes.......you know what the problem is. Cheap ass GC uses cheap ass subs and they use cheap ass manufacturers that buy cheap ass raw materials from China. Pretty simple. Thats why I focus on interior security and decorative entrances. When your paying top dollar for high end security or decorative glass - budget is rarely an issue so I use the top products all the time. I also stay out of the pool of predators thats selling jobs dirst cheap at 5-20% margins when the pool I dip my toes into averaged 112% profit margins in 2018.

Welp my verdict of running AC for the first time all summer in my house is in.

Used less power than the prior year in June - that blew my mind.

July was not as cheap as my June was, but my August was acceptable.

I'm still using much less than comparable homes in the area but still used way too much power if this pig was off the grid w/o a nice sized battery bank and panels.

I was forecasting/fearing $300-$400 bills per month like my buddy's have up the street from me but I didn't even go over that in the entire summer so I'm very very very happy.

Now lets just hope the unit keeps running good for years to come & Ill never have another hot summer indoors.

All my personal items and electronics are very happy to be in 45% humidity vs 80-100%. Rust and mold stopped forming on metal and leather items I really wanted to extend the life of so that's also great. Seeing historical items being ruined by rust and mold really was a gut punch last year.
