I don't notice any dirty clothes after they come out at all.

neither do I, but the Laundry Fairy knows and swears that the towels are cleaner, instead of tumbling around the same pattern in a front load washer.

The top load washer she has now, the drum rotates one direction and bottom rotates opposite and sprayers on top spray against the flow of the drum. The top load washers don’t get that mold smell if not used in a couple days like the front load washers, no longer have to wipe the grime off the front load door or pull hair out of the door seal.

Across the manufacturing, less front load washers are being shipped to stores, ten years ago it was almost 50/50, now for every 3 top load washers sold, to 1 front load washer.

I had a front load washer for a while. When it died I was happy to go back to a top load washer. The bigger capacity and better cleaning made it worth it.

Being my own laundry fairy for the past 15+ years... Ive never noticed a difference between either except for when it comes time for them to spin dry. The front load can sometimes become unbalanced when I overload it - then it shakes my entire house from the foundation up and you can feel it outside the house lol

Forgot to mention the cover on my roof mounted attic fan blew off in this weekend's high winds. New covers are $80 and the bearings were starting to go bad in the motor so I just removed the fan and mount then covered the hole up with some thick clear plastic and electrical tape.

Looked into replacements, but my venting is FUBAR in my house so I need to do some more research. Right now I have gable vents with soffit vents in my main house + a thermostat triggered electric vent fan then my addition has a ridge vent with soffit vents and also ties into the main roof vent system. Hodge podge of crap. Pretty sure I'm going to change it all over to ridge/soffit only.

Yeah I've never heard anything good from anyone that's owned a front load, which is why I stayed away from them.

and now you can't say that anymore lol

I like mine and it's never given me any issues in around 15 years of heavy use and abuse besides unbalanced spin cycle when overloaded ~ I still overload almost every load lol

I left out the part where my dryer is acting up again. Cleaned the moisture censer and it still won't heat up. Good thing is my house needed humidity and nothing gets a house humid like hang drying clothes inside one lol

I've never had an issue with our front loaders as well. Work awesome. Washer is the larger 5.5 cu ft or similar. Throw a king sized comforter in it no problems.

My mom and stepdad had tons of problems with their front end loader. We ended up giving it away to a couple that really needed it. They tried to pay us a little for them and my stepdad refused the money and told the guy "at this point, I'd pay you just to take these away from me. Hope they work better for you than they did for me". lol

I thought "I" was the unicorn lol

You used to be able to find a good laundry fairy to do this stuff manually till death. What ever happened to the good old times?

Lowe’s just called, new freezer is on its way!

The pantry freezer, about 18yrs old, compressor is on its way out, excessive water/condensation.
