My buddy's new cooler. He got it for an Elk hunting trip later this year. That's an 8' truck bed for scale! It's a 250qt cooler.

Our portion of the family farm sold (it’s almost land locked, does not have a good easement access and my cousin would never answer wether she would give my brother and I access across her land if we were to buy the other portions from the other family members out, well F it, my dad goes to closing in July. I no longer have a place to hunt this year. I will bringing my hunting stuff home from there.

I also will be headed up to the Laundry Fairy's family ranch in Hamilton, Texas (it’s up for sale too) soon to get my all hunting gear and few farm implements, I’m bit tired of all the family drama and drunks...if anyone is looking a nice hunting place to buy and then lease out, I can talk with the family and get you TOR discount


This is the year the lottery on the military base needs to happen and bring me luck.

That's why I hunt in my back yard now instead of our old lease. My dad's friend is the one that had it and started letting everyone he knew hunt on it. One to many times of getting to my stand only to find some asshat up in it or trying to get in it after I was already hunting

Well thanks guys, this reassures me to pull my gear from her family’s ranch even though it may take a couple years for it to sale. When her grandparents were alive, there was nonsense, and hunting was very enjoyable and we had a lot fun on the ranch. After they passed, all the rules came into place and then non family members started to get invited like during Thanksgiving week, which traditionally it has been strictly just family and then someone come up with idea to have a calendar and can “book” your stay , well enough of that crap. Her grandparents had no intentions of the ranch turning into something like that and I’m not investing anymore of our time to maintain it, her mom asked if we wanted anything from the ranch, we said not a single thing. Her parents keep inviting us, and I told them that we would only return to get our things, the personal/family conflicts there is not something we like to be involved with and rather not be there or be in another conflict or hear about it. I also can’t have my boys around some of those alcoholics that start drinking usually after breakfast, WTF?
F to all that nonsense.

When I buy land I hope to never have that crap happen to it. Think Ill need to put it into a trust or something so when I pass it down no one has an opportunity to create drama. It's very sad when peoples intentions are not passed down along with the items or land that are passed down. Almost seems like desecration. Very sad and sorry to hear that. Hopefully they wake up one day and realize their mistakes.

I wanted no part of my mothers marina being passed down to me due to drunks. Every client is drunk all the time. Seems more like a huge wet bar than an actual marina. I am very glad to not having to deal with those asshats the past winter and this summer. Every year someone was falling in drunk and almost drowning + the multiple lawsuits from idiots every year. No thanks.

So much this... I've lost two different places to hunt that were an hour away from my house because the family members were fighting over whether to sell it, who gets what portion of the property, etc...

Great idea. Was going to leave it to my two nephews, but one is a db and the other very mild tempered so why instigate problems between them. Just leave it to the one who will enjoy it and the other can have my house in the ghetto.

I'm trying to prepare my moms assets now so this crap doesn't ruin my relationship with my sister. Already told my mom to give my sister all the cash and Ill take whatever is left because I know my sister would never take care of or sell off anything with how busy she is with her family.

Holy crap.. that's a $1200 cooler and it weighs 92lbs empty! DAMN!! Not sure why I am surprised, my 45qt weighs 37 lbs empty.
