We went fishing Friday night and caught 33 catfish. My dad went back Saturday morning and they caught 65 more. So 98 catfish within 12 hours all about 4 pounds.

Went out to my buddies ranch over the weekend. We have 3000+ pics from the game cams of hogs. Very few deer. Pulled the cards on Friday and the pigs had been coming the last 3 mornings to the feeders. I set up hoping to put one down and I see 4 deer, gray fox and a coon with no tail. I just dont get it. I think these hogs are smarter than we think. They are always there when we are not and never there when we are there.
I will have to start posting some of the pics. They are on my computer at work. Check back in a few days.

That is a nice rifle. I love the 30-06 round. I just bought some Barnes Triple Shock bullets today to load up for my 06.
I would invite you to my buddies ranch to try out the rifle on some pigs but he has been VERY picky about who comes out there since the ranch had been broken into twice in 18 months.
The first time they took 1 quad. Got it back and then about a month ago they took 2 quads, LCD TV, generator, ladder, case of water, gallon of Remedy, bottle of sunscreen and about 150 gallons of diesel from the tank. We have found something new missing every time we go out so who knows what else will turn up missing.

We checked our game cameras last night. Hundreds of pictures of hogs, a spike, some doe, zero bucks, and a melanistic doe. Anyone ever seen one of those? It's a pitch black deer. Just like an albino except black rather than white. Supposed to be super rare but have been pretty common around central Texas lately. I'll try to get the picture from the guy and post it up.

I've seen a picture of those black deer, you need to pop one for sure...
I saw 5 bucks on Saterday (I don't have cameras just my eyes..) one was a real nice one and they were all beded down under one of my stands.
