Yesterday morning I thought I heard a cat, and the 3 doe at the feeder were acting a bit strange.
Yesterday evening, me and my son were hunting and he told he saw a cat, but due us hunting out of a 4ft x 4ft blind together, I was unble to look back behind me when the cat passed through. I asked him if it had a tail and he said yes, long as our dogs tail, then I asked how big he said bigger than our small dog, 40lbs but, smaller than our large dog, 90lbs.
I don't think it is a bob cat, which scares the hell out me because on Thanksgiving we were all out rock/fossil hunting and I had no firearm.
We hung a doe carcuss in a tree this morning approximately where he told me the cat passed through, ground was to hard to find any prints.
After this mornings hunt, I will check the banks of the 2 watering holes and further look for any other signs.
