Nice!
Because you can't starve us out
And you can't make us run
'Cause we're them old boys raised on shotgun
And we say "grace" and we say "Ma'am"
And if you ain't into that we don't give a damn
We came from the West Virginia coal mines
And the Rocky Mountains and the western skies
And we can skin a buck; we can run a trotline,
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive
Scouted a new place to hunt today. Almost stepped in this big bitch in a creek bottom. Got him at 50-60 yards on the run with the 243. Dropped his ass. Took the back straps and head for a euro mount. Guessing near 250-300 pounds.

It's a special kitty. Probably drinks out of this stream...Picture from my dad's property. I didn't think bobcats could have long tails? Anyone seen one before?

Got several of them. Solar powered LED driveway motion lights with green lenses. They work okay. Also have tried a wireless door chime in the stand with the motion sensor on the feeder. That's nice because it'll wake you up when you fall asleep, but it also only works okay. Also have tried green LED flood lights rigged to a remote for manual activation from the stand. Those were also solar powered and worked well, you just have to know when to flick them on. Now we scan for the pigs with a thermal monocular and attach powerful green spotlights to the rifles. That works the best because the light follows your aim until the hogs run out of the light rangeHave any of yall used a solar light for the feeder to hunt pigs or coons?
I am thinking about making some with red or green LED stips and mount them under the feeder barrel platform and put a 12v battery in an ammo can along with the solar panel and dusk dawn sensor.

Not in person. I had something stalking me this weekend camping & I can't identify the tracks. Looks like a cat track, but has 5 toes and walks in a strait line. Only thing I can think of is mutant with an extra toe or a skunk that's lost it's mind from rabies.
Pics?
That's one of your friends fucking with you. Made with knuckles.See if I can remember tonight. Already downloaded off my phone. Ive been looking online and everyone who posts similar pics never comes to a conclusion of what they actually are. Doubtful it's a cat following in it's own tracks due to the location being in the middle of the woods, but who knows.
