Little more trail cam porn. Heartbreaking part is that I was in this stand the afternoon of the 28th and picked a different stand the morning of the 29th. Had I just gone back I would have seen both of these and had an easy 8 yard shot.

With the cooler weather I'm finally seeing some movement other then hogs on my camera.

But there are still plenty of hogs too.

Hanging out in the stand this evening just to see what's moving and hopefully shoot a few hogs. Brought Hank and my daughter with me.

Got some more doe movement this morning. To bad I decided not to bow hunt this year. That's my bow stand

Yeah I'm not complaining. Got another group moving in now headed towards my feeder. And I hear some hogs.

Brought my hog popper with me just in case

I bought a few of those cheap solar flood lights from Lowes and hung them above my feeder poi ting down/out. They are a cheap way to kill hogs at night with your bow.

I have these on all my feeders as well. I want to get out and stalk them with the bow though

I was planning on going to the woods Tuesday-Thursday but it’s supposed to rain so I might just stay in the city and work on my 4Runner. I don’t like going out in the rain and I haven’t been able to do any work on it since I’ve been in training the past two weeks.

Kind of a shitty video, but I was on a walk with Hank and he saw his first hogs. Didn't hesitate to go after them.

General deer season opens Saturday. Very pumped. Leaving work early tomorrow so I dont get caught in race traffic that I will have to pass at Texas Motor Speedway.
Been prepping for the last week and think I have everything ready and packed.
Guns sighted in, good meals planned, beer in fridge, cold front, and the rut has just started. Another plus is the moon phase should help to get the deer moving during day light hours.
