four dogs total with locators.. three of them to square the pig.. then you hear the barking, get close and release "Sugar" (the Pit). By the time you catch up to the squealing, that pit bull will be well on his way to ripping off whatever she bit into.. The second pig was caught by the ear and the dog wouldn't let go.. when Ty (Cowboy) tried to choke the dog off, the hog got his arm.. They wound up cutting the damn ear off to get the dog to let go..
Pretty funny sight, wish I had a gotten a picture (dog with a Pig's Ear.. get the humor?).

I was watching "The Wild Within" last week and he was in Hawaii hunting pigs with dogs. He only brought a knife. (and 4 dogs.. 2 hounds and 2 pits). They ended up catching 2 hogs with 2 dogs per hog. He ended up killing one and his guide killed another, both with knives. I can know picture Sam in that same situation.
